Abstract: This article proposes the concept of syntropic pedagogy as a theoretical framework for addressing contemporary ecological illiteracy by bringing together decolonial education, eco-communication, and syntropic agriculture. It begins from the premise that the Plantationocene established a semantic regime grounded in the monoculture of the mind, anthropocentrism, and the subordination of ecosystems to the logic of agribusiness. Drawing on the works of Edgar Morin, Ernst Götsch, and Paulo Freire, the article argues that syntropic agroecosystems constitute formative spaces capable of restoring ecological communication, fostering ecological literacy, and valuing Indigenous epistemologies while strengthening relationships of reciprocity, autonomy, and the regeneration of the living world.
Keywords: Syntropic pedagogy; Decolonial education; Eco-communication; Agro-ecosystems; Ecological literacy.
